Today our
nation faces so many problems like corruption, instability of ruling party,
inflation, provincialism, linguistic issues, water distribution problem, Maoism,
Naxalism, insecurity of women and children, border issues, absence of foresight
in our politicians to improve India’s image on global platform etc. Etc.My first
and foremost question is “Why any government can not work with a free hand?
Reply to
this is very simple. It is because of “khichdi “ government, where each supporting party put some demands
of his own interest. Here in give and take policy, national interest is
forgotten. A majority elected party who is unable to make a government of his
own seeks support of other parties to form stable government by any means.
This
scenario is observed by all of us. Unfortunately here the nation’s integrity is
over looked and each supporting party tries to get the maximum advantage either
to favor their state for more help from central government or insisting to give
a portfolio of their choice to their man (who may be a crooked or corrupted or
criminal even) in the ministry. The
independents are the most undesired in politics as thye are sold or purchased
by black money which ultimately leads to corruption.
Today’s
situation is such that every party wants to rule (Why ?For patriotism? ) by any
means even by dirty game of pulling each other’s legs or making allegations
whether right or wrong. Nobody bothers about public who is at the mercy of the
rulers ( why, i do not understand ). Our borders are at the stake, burning. We
sacrifice our Jawans. Our foreign policy is under water. We have internal and
external enemies. People are stunned and on everybody’s face there is a sigh
and a question what now?
Very
frankly our system is badly rotten now and need to be changed. We follow the British
constitution after the freedom which is now 65 years old. Now the days are
changed and timely changes in the constitutions are the need of the day. Let us
first think about our polling system. Is it necessary to have so many political
parties in the nation? Some of which are communal or communist, some of them are
social or socialist, some are nationalist or anti nationalist, some are based
on provincialism or some on language issues, some are based on religion, some
are based on discontent.
There is
another worst side of our election system and that is “independents” . They are
easily bribed. All these parties have the selfish motto and not the integrity
of the nation. They want to make their bread butter either for a group of
people or community or province. We all know that “too many cooks spoil the
food” and likewise too many parties spoil the politics as they have different
voices and issues and mottos. They blow their own trumpet. According to my view
this is also the one of the reason for increased corruption. In reality for
country’s sound progress, growth and integrity there should be three parties
having their thoughts either toward capitalism or socialism or communism. These
parties should have their agenda based on economical growth, foreign policy,
national agricultural, energy, and water plans, nation’s defense and integrity
plan, internal strict laws and orders plan, well managed infrastructure plan,
educational plan, women’s , backwards and oppressed uplift plan, youngster’s
job security plan etc. No party can fight election unless they have their
members and branches in 2/3 of the country.
If any small party is willing to
fight election, they can do so under the banner of the nationally approved
party. No one can change the party once elected. If he or she wants to change
the party they should get reelected. The person charged with crime once can not
fight election. Any person wishes to come in politics and wants to take part in
election should be at least graduate from the university and should have minimum
3 years experiences in social services. Any minister above 70 years should seek
retirement. There should be a system of
referendum in our law so that any reforms in the constitution urgently required
may be passed by taking public opinion. ( the decision of punishment in rape
cases is pending and can be cleared by public opinion). Words like backward
class, scheduled class, minority class , harrijans, savarnos should be removed
from our constitution and dictionary as they are dividing us instead making us
united.
The idea is good to make one India and strong India. Politicians then cannot
take advantage of Britisher’s policy like “divide and rule “. Anamat policy or
reserved seats for the above mentioned class also should be abolished as
politician take disadvantage and make it a weapon to fight in election. Instead
we should provide them best education ( free to certain standard) , best food,
best medical help ( free whenever and
wherever required) and house at very
cheap and reasonable rate. Let them develop intellectually. Teach them so they
become self supportive.
Regarding
corruption I think it is spread like a cancer.
It is from peon to politician, every where , in every department of
government sector or public sector or private sector. Here we should remember
the Sanskrit proverb, “ yatha raja tatha praja “ whose king is a thief, his
people are also thieves. (we experience it in today’s politics.) Ruling party
is shielding corruption and so it is spreaded in the country like a epidemic.
There are no remedies. The laws are made
to prevent this disease but they are not effective.
The new law to provide food for everybody, no on to starve, sounds good. But it does not appeal to me. I think those who gets free food may become more lazy and they are relaxed as there is no worry for food for them. So they may then spend there extra earnings extravagantly or may become addicted to some vices. Government is not going to see what is the impact of this rule. Instead, they should be provided some work and make them self-supportive.
Again, by providing free tablets or laptops does not increase their talents and promise for any earnings or job. They may sell their free gifts given to them ( a news read in a Gujrati newspaper that a student in UP sold his free laptop to fulfill his college fees). Instead why can't a student's basic necessities like college fees be taken care of so he can make good use of such free gifts like laptop.
The formation of the third front is nothing but politics of selfishness. All the leaders of the parties have a selfish motto. The leader of the each parties have the eye on PM's chair and if the third front gets majority in the house there will a fight between them for the PM's chair. And what will the scene ,one has to imagine only. In Gujrati there is a proverb called "Kutraa Khenche Gaam Bhani, ane Shiyaal Khenche Seem Bhani?".
The change is must now. After freedom we had no enough time to form our own constitution and we opted to follow the British constitution with few amendments. But after 65 years so many things have changed in our country and on the global platform. So it is now high time to make changes in our all systems including electoral.
Today we badly need an aggressive, progressive, talented, witty, daring and powerful man as nation's PM who can make Bharat strong, internally and externally. He should be well versed with " Chanakya Policy".
The election should be fought now with the views of progress, inflation, corruption, strong foreign policy, border security and change in system.
I think the causes of the
corruption can be explained as under:
1 Temptation to earn easy
money by taking disadvantage of the post or administration and law to live
lavish and luxurious status life.
2 Addiction in life.
3 In all government or non
government department either due to lethargy in the work or due to heavy work
load one can find the pile of uncleared files. The rich and influential people
bribe to expidite their work on priority basis.
4 Heavy taxation.
5 Inflation.
6 Loop holes in laws
7 Lack of intention to
apply strict laws.
8 Black money. And
9 Lack of patriotism.
We have to
consider some other points also.
1 Country is shattering
down in pieces because elected candidate has aim
To gain and maintain
only power by any means (like booth capturing, giving bribe, making riots
etc.etc.). There is a lack of feeling of making one India. Opposite party have
one slogan only to pull down the ruling party. First let us make one India
atmosphere. Uproot the Anamat system. It is really dangerous, dividing the country
and making the country weak internally and intellectually.
2 We have very good penal
laws, but poor intention to apply them.
With the principle of “ Bhaya
bin preet nahi “ law and order should be very strict like Saudi Arabia. For
raja or rank all be treated with the same measurement.
3 Today we need a leaders
like Sardar Patel a strong pillar of one India (Today's politician want to divide India to rule)
Today we need a leader
like Indira Gandhi having foresight of
strong foreign policy. Today we need a leader like Lal Bahadur having strong
will power.
4
There must be ban on
making strikes as it make the nation weak and only common public is suffer. We
have observed the situation in bank strikes, or bus strikes or taxi or auto strikes.
People are under siege and finally after days harassment their demands are
accepted and load finally comes on public pocket as per the Gujarati proverb “ Kanya
ni Kede Bhar “.
5
We are not serious and
strict on food adulteration laws. We everyday read artificial milk, mava, ghee,
dal, masalas, drugs etc. Etc. This is nothing but playing with one’s life. Such
culprits are to be hanged.
6
There are no serious and
strict laws for weight and measurements. Big companies cheat people very
frequently by changing the weight or packing. Their should be identical weight
and volume measurement system in all commodities and consumer durable by
simply changing outer appearance no one should be allowed raise the price.
7
Pandit Jawaharlal made
states accordingly language and their culture. It was good idea. But instead
all states started quarreling this is mine and that is yours and India started
dividing internally.
8
All intellectuals
,learned, saints, Pandits, mullah, maulavis, dharmatmas, spiritual leaders
should come on one plateform with one voice to awake the common men and give
the slogan of one Bharat, strong Bharat and throw away the divide and rule
policy of the politicians.
9
We changed the names of
cities and roads given by British. But still we are unable to change our
country’s name India to Bharat.
10
Our education system
should be changed where student’s interest should be observed from their
schooling and they should be encouraged from all angles. Teaching subjects like
languages, history, geography, civic etc .should be restricted till standard
four or five.
11
In India politicians
make dirty allegations on each other to spoil the image of some really good
personalities and their work for the welfare of the common men and strong Bharat.
12
Really we should now
awaken and should not allow any ruling party to rule more than 3 or 5 years and
they should have fear that if they do not understand the public they would
definitely be thrown from the power. The change must be there for transparent
democracy.
The above are my personal
views and are not in favor or against any one but for the
integrity and powerful strong Bharat.
